Pajama Day!

I LOVE pajama day!  The children always look absolutely adorable in their pj's.  We spent our morning visiting the library and computer lab. In the afternoon the children were cozy with their blankets and stuffed animals while they enjoyed the movie, Polar Express. Merry Christmas!

We can represent numbers in many different ways

In math we have been working in place value. We used a triangle mat to show 3 digit numbers in standard form, word form, and expanded form. The children also built the numbers with base ten blocks, drew the symbols for the numbers, & identified how many hundreds, tens, and ones were in each number.

Our Citizen Project

The children have worked very hard to create a project that symbolizes the many places I which we are citizens. It shows that we are citizens of our house, our school, our city, our state, our country, our continent, and our planet.

Happy Halloween!

We had a great time at our Halloween Party!  The children enjoyed making a candy corn necklace, creating a ghostly craft, dancing along to a few Just Dance for Kids songs, and decorating a cookie and having a snack.  THANK YOU to all the moms, dads, and other adults that came to help us!  Check us out...

Even Mrs. Kirkwood joined in for a little dancing!
