Quiz, Quiz, Trade!

Here we are reviewing for the Social Studies test by doing an activity called Quiz, Quiz, Trade. Each student has a card with a question on it. They move around the room and partner up with another student. Each partner quizzes the other on their question. Then they trade questions and move on to quiz another student.   It's a fun way to review  before our test!

Math Games Help Us Learn!

This year we will use various math games to practice math concepts. The children can choose a math game to play when their assignments are complete!

Addition Bump is a popular game!

Here we are practicing making trades with ones, tens, and hundreds while playing the Money Exchange Game.

These students are preparing their money envelopes and counting to see how much money they have!

Welcome to our classroom blog!!!

We are off to a wonderful start in 2nd grade!  We like to begin our days with this song... Count on Me by Bruno Mars.  The children LOVE to sing along as we get ready to start learning!
