Halloween Party Fun!

Our Halloween party was tons of fun!  The students enjoyed creating a Halloween craft, playing Pass the Pumpkin, Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin, decorating a cookie, Bingo, a coloring contest, Halloween bean bag toss, making a candy corn bead necklace, Pumpkin Bowling, and eating a tasty snack!!!  Thank you to all of our parent & grandparent helpers, and thanks to everyone that sent in donations for our Halloween Bash!!

Flying Airplanes in Science

In science the students created paper airplanes!  Here the students are flying their planes and measuring the distance that they flew. They will have an opportunity to make modifications to their planes, and then they will test them again. 

Math Super Stars!

Congratulations to our first students to reach their goal for counting to 1,000!!!! Way to go!

Also, way to go to this guy for mastering all the subtraction facts on Xtra Math!! Awesome job!!

Quiz, Quiz, Trade!

Here we are reviewing for the Social Studies test by doing an activity called Quiz, Quiz, Trade. Each student has a card with a question on it. They move around the room and partner up with another student. Each partner quizzes the other on their question. Then they trade questions and move on to quiz another student.   It's a fun way to review  before our test!

Masters of Addition Facts!

Save Your Pop Tabs!!!

MRE is having a contest to see which class can collect the most pop tabs. These are collected to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. Mrs. Boberg's class has already collected lots of pop tabs!!  The winning class gets a bus trip to McDonald's for lunch !

Fire Prevention Week

Thank you to our Bedford Fire Department for coming to MRE to speak about fire safety!
