* Hang up their coat and backpack
* Check their backpack for homework, notes, library books, lunch money
* Sign up for lunch
* Sharpen pencils
* Work on assignments in their "Need to Finish" file
* Read quietly at their seats
When it is time for us to gather on the carpet for the Morning Letter, we play the "Count on Me" song. The children clean up, gather on the carpet, and sing along!
